PARIS, GABRIELLE AND ANNALISE ON THANKSGIVING NIGHT

I (Michael Gartner) fixed Tofurkey for my mother Jeannie Teel for the first time and we loved it! and tasted even better cold for sandwiches the next day.Michael Gartner (Seattle,Washington)

Here is a picture of me and my Tofurky. I love Tofurky! It Makes the

I just got back from my fantastic trip to Southeast Asia, and I brought along Tofurky, knowing that there'd be some great shots along the way. When I got to the entrance of the world famous Angkor Wat I knew I had found the perfect spot.
Thank you for your wonderful products, especially the Tofurky Feast, which I enjoyed this past Christmas.

Silly impromptu tofurkey poem
by Michael Staggs
Enjoy my soy I shall I will
I'll enjoy every bite and eat my fill
and then I'll wash the pots and plates
rub my stomach and call it great
And when the dinner is over, oh what a treat
I've truly given thanks without any meat
and who all is thankful?
not just me and you
but that little turkey that lived, he's thankful too!
Since you apparently liked my photo from last years Thanksgiving, I decided to send you a new photo from this year (attached).
I do have one compliant though: The meat eaters at the table came to the conclusion that your gravy was better then the "the real thing" -meat eaters speak here-, that there was a fight over who could get to the Tofurky Gravy first.
Although the consumption of the Tofurkey Roast/Feast is a annual event the Tofurkey slices are a simple and delicious way to "brown bag" lunch. That is re-usable brown bag, of course.
As it is time for you to distribute the Tofurky Holiday Feast,
it is also time for my annual Tofurky photo.
So I hope you enjoy!
Happy Thanksgiving -
Eat Tofurky, Save a Turkey,
Andrew S.
(note from Turtle Island: Thanks Andrew! We enjoy your yearly photo and seeing the boys grow up with Tofurky!)
Attached are two pictures of our beloved tofurky items that we took to Spain
with us this year.

The first picture is of my wife Kasey and I in Segovia, Spain with the 2000
year old Roman Aqueduct behind us, with the mountains in the distance. The
second is us at the Coliseum of the Alhambra Castle in Granada, Spain. The
tofurky jerkey was a major blessing to us as we travelled across Spain,
especially since Spain is not very vegetarian friendly.
Thanks for making a great product!

Hi: my son (the doctor) is in charge of the lung transplant program at UCLA and, along with his significant other, an ardent vegan. I, however, yell "wheres the beef?" I had strict instructions to purchase one of your Tofurkys from Trader Joes, but he has been very worried I would not find it. In response I sent him the following rhyme.
Cool your jets,
Chomp down on your jurky,
Your Thanksgiving transplant
Is The Tofu Turkey!!

Hi my name is Carrie K.
I realize the essays are supposed to be about traveling with Tofurky, but this one isn't. It's just about me and my mom, Kathy, and how much we love Tofurky Roast. Mom and I live in separate states and only get to see each other once a year, twice if we're lucky, and this years' visit took place last week at my place in Sonoma County, CA. No matter what we always have a Tofurky Roast dinner together during our visit, it's our traditional thing that we must do, no matter what time of year it is. I showed her the website and said it would be fun if we could go somewhere and take the Tofurky with us so we could write about it. She said I should just write my story and maybe it will be unique enough to peak someone 's interest, so here goes.
I have been a vegetarian/vegan since I was 13 years old, which was 21 years ago. My mom is now a vegan and has been for the past 5 years or so. We have always been animal lovers and animal rights activists. As a matter of fact I have been employed in animal rescue/welfare for over 12 years. I started and managed the horse rescue and adoption program at Best Friends Society in Southern Utah, which is one of the largest no-kill animal sanctuary's in the country. Currently I work for another non-profit called Eagle Eye Sanctuary and we rescue burros and donkeys. We are located on a wildlife preserve which is on about 2,600 acres and we currently have 47 burros. We are off-grid, which means we only have solar power, spring water, composting toilets, etc. I am the caretaker here and live in a small cabin with my two pound puppies, Mojo and Pepe and my rescued horse Magic.
I moved here from Southern Utah almost three years ago, and even though I only go into town on the weekends I have managed to make some great friends here in California. This Thanksgiving we are having a pot luck 'orphans dinner" for all our friends who can't be with their relatives. I, of course am making Tofurky Roast. I know several people have never had it before and of course are reluctant to try it because it's 'not real meat'. I have made it for other people before and was delighted that they were so pleasantly surprised at how tasty and nutritious it is. I enjoy showing to people that compassion can be healthy and taste great too. Of course I just want them to come and enjoy a nice dinner. However if they leave a little more aware of other options and it possibly spares a turkey from ending up on a the diner table next year then that's just one more thing to be thankful for. Speaking of thanks, thank you for making it so easy to enjoy Tofurky and inspire others to do the same. Who knows you may have even inspired Mom and I to take a road trip next year?
thanksgiving is here bagged a tofurky today every thing is fine

The holidays are always rough for us vegetarians. Most of the year, we get by well enough on our lentils, rice and Indian food. But whenever North American families get together, a turkey dinner is inevitable.
A good way to avoid a lot of the hassles of the season is to get a Tofurky. But sometimes, that's not enough. Sometimes, in the presence of so much carnivorousness, something primal is stirred. You see meat. You smell it. The caveman hunter wakes up inside of you, and you go on the prowl. In times like these, vaguely meatish soy product is not enough! You need. . . .
