In 2009, our new Marinated Tempeh Strips won two awards: VegNews Best in Show at natural Products Expo West 2009 as well as Sherbrooke Capitals Best New Product.

In 2008 Turtle Island Foods was honored by Inc. Magazine as one of the top 5000 fastest growing small businesses in the USA (2,654 out of 6 million total). This was our 2nd consecutive year on the Inc. Magazine list.
Advertising Age Magazine
Also in 2008, we were named one of the top 50 marketing brands in the USA by Advertising Age magazine.
Humane Society of the United States
We joined forces with the Humane Society of the United States in 2008 to become the first food company to be a sponsor of this animal rights organization.
