Why is it so much like meat?

 

Tofurky® products are made from a special combination of organic tofu, vital wheat gluten and expeller pressed
non-GMO canola oil. This symbiotic relationship between the soy and wheat gives our product a bold, meat-like texture. If you tear a piece of Tofurky® you will notice that it shears at a 45° angle, like meat, not at a 90° angle like other meat alternatives.
