Chorizo Queso Dip

Spice up your next party with our Chorizo Queso Dip! Make it your own with a selection of your favorite toppings like diced tomatoes, jalapenos, cilantro, black olives or vegan sour cream. This one definitely won’t disappoint at that next party or potluck!

Makes 6 to 8 servings    

what you’ll need:

1 (8 ounce) package Daiya Cheddar Style Shreds
1 (14.5 ounce) can tomatoes with green chilies
½ teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons oil
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 package Tofurky® Chorizo, divided

how to make:

1. In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt cheddar with tomatoes, stirring until it becomes a cohesive mixture. Stir in half of the chorizo and salt. Reduce heat to low to keep warm until ready to serve.
2. In a large skillet, warm oil over medium-high heat, and cook remaining chorizo until crisp, about 5 minutes.
3. Transfer warm queso dip to a serving bowl, and top with fried chorizo and green onions.
