TEMPEH 101A
Yield: 25 servings
Marinate 48 oz. Turtle Island Soy Tempeh
cut into ¼”x4” strips
for 20 minutes in:
4 cups Soy sauce
15 cups water
6 teaspoons fresh grated
ginger
3 teaspoons garlic powder
6 tablespoons toasted
sesame oil.
Saute until tender using 18 tablespoons oil.
Cut into 1” pieces for use in a variety of dishes or
serve strips as bacon substitute in sandwiches or as a breakfast
strip. Other uses: Appetizers: Spear marinated tempeh with toothpicks and serve
with your favorite dip.
Stir-Fry: Add chopped vegetables to marinated tempeh pieces
and steam for 5 minutes.
Spaghetti: Add spaghetti sauce to marinated tempeh, simmer
and add to pasta.
