Red, White, and Blue Hot Dogs
Why just serve your potato salad on the side when it’s so much more fun to pile it high! These red, white, and blue Tofurky hot dogs are sure to be the star of your 4th of July barbecue.
Makes 5 servings
what you’ll need:
1 pound blue potatoes
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons minced chives
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 package Tofurky® Jumbo Hot Dogs
5 vegan hot dog buns (Silver Hills Bakery)
4 red radishes, thinly sliced
how to make:
1. In a medium saucepan, cover potatoes with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer until potatoes are tender, about 12-15 minutes. Drain, let cool, then slice in half or quarters.
2. In a medium bowl, toss potatoes, lemon juice, oil, chives, garlic, and salt.
3. Grill hot dogs over a hot grill fire or on a grill pan until browned. Serve in buns topped with potato salad and radishes.
